The August 30 permit date was canceled. Permit holders must wait for Idaho Fish and Game to post a replacement opening date.
WDFW still says Knowles Road is temporarily closed even though its anticipated September 1 opening date has passed. Wait for confirmation before using the road.
Buoy 10 switches to hatchery coho retention only. Farther upstream, fishing closes from west Puget Island to Warrior Rock and Bachelor Island through September 30.
The Thursday-through-Sunday fishery opens with a two-adult Chinook daily limit, including no more than one wild adult. Barbless hooks are required, and two-pole fishing is not allowed.
